What's Happening at Nelson??

Welcome to the webpage for the Nelson Sharks! Here you will find information about what is happening at our school.

The Nelson Coin Wars have begun! From November 3-14, students can participate in a fun, Super Mario themed fundraiser. Information was sent home from PTA in October.

Our annual food drive runs from November 10-20. We will be collecting non-perishable food items for Haysville's Senior Center. The top three classes will choose between a donut or a pizza party!

Pictures retakes are November 12!

Thanksgiving Break is from November 24-28 this year! Have a fantastic holiday!

2025 Haysville Education Barn Bash

The Haysville Education Foundation invites you to the annual Barn Bash on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Wichita Union Stockyards. This signature fundraiser supports classroom innovation grants and student assistance programs across USD 261.

Back To School 2025-26 School Year

New student and online enrollment for all new students will be held at the Administration Building (1745 W. Grand) from July 7–17, Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
